Our Story

A short answer to a long question.

Moorevylix was founded in 2024 in Austin, Texas, after years of buying men’s clothes from brands that priced like luxury and felt like fast fashion. We thought we could do better — by doing less.

The plan was simple. Pick the pieces a man actually keeps in his rotation — a heavyweight tee, a long-sleeve, a hooded pullover, a wool coat — and make the best, most honest version of each one. Heavyweight cotton from a single Carolina mill. Embroidered logos. Cohorts of a few hundred units. No SKU bloat.

What “heritage menswear” means to us.

The word “heritage” gets used a lot. To us it means a small set of timeless silhouettes, executed in materials that hold up — not a rotating drop calendar dressed in vintage fonts. Every Moorevylix piece is mixed, cut and finished here in Austin in numbered cohorts no larger than a few hundred units, then quality-checked piece by piece before it ships.

That batch-and-check discipline is the part most modern brands skip. We think it’s the part that matters.

“We don’t run sales. We don’t drop weekly. We make a small set of pieces, well, in cohorts of a few hundred.”
— Landen Moore, Founder

Where we come from.

The team is small — fewer than ten people on payroll. Most of us came out of independent product design and supply-chain work. We chose Austin partly for the talent and partly for the cost of running a real production floor. Our facility is in north Austin and our customer-care team works from the same building, which is also why a real person picks up when you call.

What we won’t do.

We won’t run subscription lock-in. We won’t bury return windows. We won’t use models or photographers we don’t pay properly. We won’t ship a piece that fails QC, even if it costs us the cohort. We won’t sell your email. If a fabric arrives off-spec, we send it back — even if it’s day 30 of the production schedule. We’ve done it before. We’ll do it again.

That’s the work. Thanks for reading.
